CVS Last Week & 5/6/2012

Last week I went to CVS in Richmond with Sarah and got some great deals so naturally I had to hit ours when I got home. I know this is way late but here is what I got last week:

Transaction #1:
Colgate Toothpaste: 2 at $2.99 = $5.98
Used $1/2 Colgate (4/29/12 SS)
Used $1/1 Toothpaste, CVS Coupon Center (Yay!)
Used $4 ECB from previous week
= $0.08 out of pocket, get back $4.98 ECB

**I should have been able to use (2) $1/1 Colgate, CVS Reinventing Beauty Magazine (exp. 5/30/12) and only had to use $2 ECB but I couldn’t find anymore Reinventing Beauty Magazines in our store? Hope that’s not a new trend!

Transaction #2:
Speed Stick Deodorant: 2 at $2.50 = $5.00
Used B1G1 Free Speed Stick or Lady Speed Stick, up to $3.99 (4/29/12 SS)
Used $1/1 Deodorant from CVS Coupon Center (Yay again!)
= $0.21 out of pocket

Here is how this week went (starting out with the following ECB from last week: $1, $2, $2, $4.98):

Transaction #1:
Good’n Natural Energy Bar (2.2oz) $0.99
Dove Bars: 2 at $0.75 = $1.50
Cottonelle Jonathan Adler Designer Roll Cover $1.99
Kotex U Liners (40-60 ct.) $3.99
Use Free Good’n Natural Bar (RP 5/6/12) * Sarah, found this in the Rich. Times!
Use $0.50/2 DOVE Chocolate Singles Bars (1.44oz)
Use $1/1 Kotex U (SS 3/25) EXP 5/5!
Use $4.98 ECB + $1.00 ECB from previous weeks
=$0.03 OOP, get back $1.99 ECB (Cottonelle), $3 ECB (Kotex), $0.75 ECB (Mars)

Transaction #2
Children’s Allegra Allergy 12 hr 12 ct. $9.99
Use $5/1 Allegra 30 ct.+, Allegra-D 10 ct.+, or Children’s Allegra (SS 5/6/12)*
Use $0.75 ECB (from Transaction #1) + $2.00 ECB + $2 ECB (from previous weeks)
= $0.24 out of pocket, get back $4.99 ECB

*The Children’s Allegra coupon is in the Washington Post, I didn’t find it The Daily Progress or The Richmond Times.

Transaction #3
Huggies Diapers Jumbo Pack: 2 at $10 = $20.00
Huggies Wipes $6.00
Use (2) $3/1 Huggies Diapers, CVS Reinventing Beauty Magazine
Use (2) $2/1 Huggies Little Movers, Little Snugglers, or Overnites diapers, jumbo pk (4/15/12 SS)
Use $4.99 ECB (from Transaction #2) + $1.99 ECB + $3.00 ECB (from Transaction #1)
= $7.32 out of pocket, get $10 ECB

This is typically way more than I pay out of pocket but I felt like the diapers were a pretty good deal and there was no coupon out for the wipes when I went. I’m hearing rumors of a coupon on the CVS website but it might be paired with the purchase of diapers. Who knows, though, they might let you use both!

So this week I paid a total of $7.59 out of pocket and left with $10 ECB and over $44 worth of products that my family will use! They basically paid me over $2 to leave with all of that stuff when all is said and done. I heart CVS!

What deals did you get?
